Please read and save these Magnavox ZV427MG9 Manual instructions before using Magnavox ZV427MG9. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions. Do not use this apparatus near water. Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not block the ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. If the supplied Plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord that is not stepped on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Use only accessories specified by the manufacturer.

There are no serviceable parts inside user. Turn on the unit, disconnect the power supply Plug and call our help line mentioned on the front page to locate an authorized service center. Clean the front panel and other exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft cloth. Never use solvents, thinner, benzene or alcohol to clean the unit. Do not spray insecticide liquid near the unit. These chemicals may discolor the surface or damage the unit. When a disc becomes dirty, clean it with a cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc from the Center outward. Do not wipe in a circular motion. Do not use solvents such as benzine, thinner, commercially available cleaning products, detergents, abrasive cleaning agents or antistatic sprays designed for analog records.

If this unit still does not work properly although refers to the corresponding sections already "Troubleshooting" in this owner's manual, the optic optical capture unit may be dirty. Consult your dealer or an authorized service center for inspection and cleaning of the laser optical pickup unit. Handling the disc so that fingerprints and dust do not adhere to the surfaces of the disks. Always store the disc in its protective case when not in use. It automatically cleans video heads as you insert or remove a cassette, so you can see a clear picture. The playback picture may become blurred or interrupted while the TV program reception is clear. The dirt accumulated in the heads of video after a long period of use, or the use of rental tapes or worn can cause this problem. If a picture of streaks or snow appears during playback, it is possible that should clean video of unit heads. Please visit your local store of audio / video and buy a good quality VHS video head cleaner. If a video head cleaner does not solve the problem, consult your dealer or an authorized service center.
